Privacy

What this site receives, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.

Information you provide

The corrections form can collect your name, an optional email address, the book or page concerned, edition or format, and the details you submit. Do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary to report the issue.

How submissions are used

Correction reports are used to investigate and improve books and website content. If you provide an email address, it may be used to clarify your report or acknowledge a material correction. It is not added to a marketing list through this form.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address goes to Kit (kit.com), the service that stores the list and sends the emails. You confirm by email before you are added. Your address is used only to send news about books and stories, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. Kit’s privacy policy applies to how it handles your data.

Technical data and cookies

The hosting platform may process basic technical information needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the site. Cookie or analytics features, where enabled, are governed by the consent choices shown to the visitor.

Linked services

Video previews, retailer links, audiobook platforms, review sites, and award sites may receive technical data when you use their services. Their own privacy policies apply independently.

Retention and access

Correction submissions are retained only as long as reasonably needed to assess the report, document an editorial decision, or meet legitimate record-keeping obligations.

Your request

To ask about a correction submission or request deletion of personal information supplied with it, use the corrections form, select Website, and begin the details with Privacy request.
